Solar System Types
Grid Tied Solar PV Systems
At Powercom Pawa, we offer on-grid solar photovoltaic (PV) systems that connect your energy production directly to the grid. Here’s what you can expect:
- Efficiency: On-grid systems maximize the use of solar energy, ensuring you benefit from every ray of sunlight.
- Cost Savings: By feeding excess energy back into the grid, you can earn credits on your electricity bills.
Off Grid Solar PV Systems
For those seeking energy independence in remote locations or areas with unreliable grid access, our off-grid solar PV systems are the answer:
- Self-Sufficiency: Generate and store your own electricity, free from grid dependence.
- Remote Accessibility: Bring electricity to off-grid locations for homes, farms, or remote industrial sites.
Solar Thermal Systems
Solar thermal hot water systems rely on converting the Sun’s energy into hot water. There are two main components in a domestic Solar Thermal Hot Water System. The first is called the “Solar Collector”, which is directly exposed to the Sun and is used for heating water. Evacuated tube collectors are among the latest technologies in the field of solar thermal hot water systems. In addition, the system is comprised of a tank, which is used to store the heated water.
Swimming Pools
Enjoying the luxury of swimming in warm water during the cold winter season is now possible through solar pool heating. Due to Africa’s remarkable weather conditions, it is the most affordable way of heating your swimming pool with minimal operating annual costs.
Water from the pool is pumped through filters and circulates through the solar collectors where it gets heated by the Sun. This hot water eventually circulates back to the pool.
